"I've got some real concerns about this movement within the republican party and the tea party movement to sort of refashion conservatism, and um, I will vocally and publicly oppose it, and do my best to correct the record"
He also claims here that traditional conservatives do not believe in lower taxes, lower regulations, or liberty and natural rights.
There you have it folks, another big government republican. How on earth is he getting more tea party support than any other candidate coming out of Iowa? Santorum is just as damaging to the republican party as Romney, if not more so.

Wish I knew how to make it happen more often, the points really soar when you get hundreds of views, especially on videos.
I do not find the snippeting of the short video very serious, he says what he means clearly, context would not seem to matter much. If Santorum would find it hard to work with the Libertarians in the Tea Party, he and all of us are in trouble.
He is sometimes great on the debate stage; but the way he has expressly come out to reject the principles of liberty, the role he sees for government, and the fact that he doesn't seem to be much of a flip-flopper, I've already concluded I could not support him in the general election, let alone the primary.
