Your recording is accepted to The Circus with this comment and I'll circle back in a bit with a response
I must be judiciously discerning though. I've an addictive personality (and presently housebound...). Could spell trouble!
The double danger of a large toosh and developing a sentient ganglion is nerve wracking!
I enjoyed the ooze and goo of the primordial rising and collapse and reorganization.
I'm spending a lot of time in this sphere these days both internally and externally.
That realm of bodily and psychological/ spiritual breakdown and my life long fascination with regeneration and evolution through that process.
Your poem's treatment of a sebaceous cyst taking on individuality and consciousness from a dream motif is Kafkaesque indeed (and thoroughly delightful!).
I loved the feminine beauty of the eels. It's a very dense collection of ideas and certainly warrants listening to several times. I want to go back and focus on the religious aspect of the episode and your poetic presentation.
I also enjoyed hearing your voice Boris. Congratulations on the National coverage. The additional overlay and remix is fascinating. Could you provide us with an online link to this very cool Australian National radio project?
I agree, the host of the program, Natasha Mitchell, did a wonderful job with the remix of the show.
This is the home page of all her programs over the years, all of which have podcasts and transcripts.

The program is called "All in the Mind" and it's a foray into the mind, brain and behaviour.
( I just wish more people on Gather would take the time to listen to this program! )
The Surreal Circus will continue to feature your first national radio appearance. I'll be happy to add comments to keep it in 'the stream' (...as my brain attempts to further wrap around the material).
What's here is food for a thousand conversations.
Thanks Boris
((Sorry it took me so long to get here.))
She also got me to really act out the poems!
