Bravo!
I hope there will be more to come. Poetry comes alive read aloud.
It certainly does come alive when spoken aloud. I could feel the mist encompassing the soul within.
Thanks again to Atticus for the inspiration.
Seeing and hearing you read it, now that was sheer joy! Your voice has lost none of its deep-seated , sweet musicality - just as soft and sweet as I remember it, yet with something infinitely more lasting!
You'll always be beautiful - within even more than without!

Now when are you going to post a video of you reading a poem, eh? Please don't be shy.
Seriously, though, I'm slowly screwing up the courage - a little bit everyday :) - to post one of the videos from the tribute concert for my parents earlier this year. Maybe the same song - "Sayonee" - whose original video on my posts page had you cutting the rug not so long ago?!!! heheheh

The poem speaks to me of growing older...of dementia in the way that the past is clearer than the present, and also of heart ache or even healing as in a slow recuperation.
Your voice is indeed, beautiful and I love your fuzzy smile.
I look forward to more of your readings!
