Thank you for your post! You'd be surprised how many people won't take this flue thing a little more seriously ie: wash their hands more frequently, if at all.
Our shots here in Canada they say won't be ready until mid November, here in Edmonton, AB of the 29 deaths since August 2009 most were women of middle age....although there was no reason given for this nice tid bit of newz.
Having agoraphobia I rarely venture out but I worry about my 20 month old grandson, my adult children and ofcourse everyone else!!
There are wipes here at all of the stores, Zellers, WalMart, Safeway....grocerie stores etc if not wipes the 99% jel hand sanitizer also, fantastic idea. Also on the TV adds they continue to remind everyone that when you cough to cough into your half bent elbow rather than your hand....thus spreading less germs.
Yes, people are very worried here as well but I am starting to think a little extra caution sure couldn't hurt it's that time of year anyway right.

Ya it is that time of the year.
I do not go out much myself away from home that is. I do not drive and not much in our small town to go out for lol!
We had to go out yesterday for a couple items and I have allergies etc. so I am always coughing, sneezing, sniffling (my parrot copies this it is quite funny in a sad way), I notice people giving me some weird looks!! Usually I do not get these.....
So I think I need to change some of my behaviors for others sakes. A tissue or something on me at all times??

Good Morning MrsRoad Runner, awesome name by the way! I am thinking about your parrot as I'm sitting here, typing,laughing, tearing....sorry but too funny. My x-mother inlaw, I don't really concider her this way but alas, she had birds also and they spoke and acted in funny ways, your blessed to have such a cool companion!

My grandmother was into birds and she thought it would be good for me as a kid, so I was allowed them too.
Actually anything creepy, crawly,slimy,scaly,furry,fuzzy I pretty much had through my life lol!
