I've been pointing out the lunacy of newsmax for several months now when I see it used as a source for some "Magic christian's" articles!

I actually subscribe to NewsMaxx, because so many of the people blogging here on G read this hate-filled, internal-terrorist-tripe. Keep your friends close, but keep the enemies of the constitution even closer.

What scares me so badly is that we are actually becoming infected with the same insane, internal conflicts (based on religious zealotry) that we have dismissed as lunacy in many "third world" countries.

I thought the answer to the title question was "out of their butts," but I haven't had my tea yet.

I understood about half of Gather when I went South a couple of weeks ago. Not only could you really not find ANYTHING on TV other than FOX - I mean when you went to a public TV, but the minds MINDS MINDS of people have been taken over by the FOX pods.

I mentioned Rachel Maddow to my son - apparently he doesn't know her. He said is she one of the crazies? NOOOO. I said. Watch her.

I recently lost a friend when he told me, "If I'm not watching Law and Order, I only watch Fox", my questioning about exactly when he got his Lobotomy probably had something to do with it.

One thing that drives me crazy is when I have to go to the VA hospital every three months for my Diabetes checkup is that ALL the televisions are tuned to ClusterFox and there is no way to change the channel! Sometimes I just bang my head against the wall while there.

I just saw a Law and Order where they prosecuted the federal government over torture of prisoners. Your friend must have a hard time reconciling this with Fox. :)

I saw a Turn Off FOX gadget for sale online. It is a small universal remote that will change the channel on ANY TV anywhere you happen to run into it tuned to Fox. I know what I am asking Santa for this year, I might even try to be good til then since coal is good to throw at the TV's but won't change the channel!

An Arizona law went into effect yesterday, allowing concealed guns in bars. Can't wait to see who shoots who first. It just may be the best way to get rid of all the guns.

Olbermann ( who should really use fewer mocking voices) always does his homework and is just as likely to call out a Dem behaving badly as anyone else. Rachel Maddow is authoritative and impeccable with her in depth reports!

I just sometimes think the mocking tone (altho I understand the 'why' of it) might turn off someone who really needs to hear what he is saying and who could learn something. I do watch Fox and check out WND occasionally, and this is exactly why. Of course I usually can't make it through an entire program without the need to suppress the urge to throw things at the television.

There are too many wackos out there that are being looked at as knowledgeable and sane. They are far from it.
