#2-I hardly give my kids soda and we rarely have desserts. My kids totally eat veggies and fruit and I learned that if I eat it with them they eat it...They totally follow by example.
#3-The electronic age sure is a bad thing for sure! (I am totally guilty!)
#4-I see that in my husband LOL ;o) It's something we need to work on! My husband thinks my kids need a million toys at Christmas and I think 1 or 2 is great...they don't play with them all!) I totally want my kids to know about charity & volunteering!
#5-I am thinking of joining the Sweet Adaline's (harmony singing group) and they told me to bring my kids and that they would treat them like their own grandkids...so I am really excited to go with my kids. My kids LOVE to sing like I do ;o).
I think another thing is know what your kids ARE watching on TV...there are some BAD cartoons out there that are not kid friendly! And I never let my kids watch older movies than they are...we have friends that thought we were weird because we didn't let our kid see the Transformers movies...I didn't think they were appropriate for a 3 & 5 year old LOL. Anyway I think what you shared it really important & helpful! SO many people are not doing those things & it is a problem...we have a couple to work on still :o)
