While leaving one of the Chattahoochee River National Recreational areas we spotted this owl just inside the tree line of the woods. The video is a bit dark because it was getting dark.

Oh wow!!! What a great thing to see! I've never seen an owl that wasn't in captivity (pathetic, I know). He was looking right at you too! It looks like it was pretty big!

He's pretty.

We have a barred owl (what this one is) who lives in our neighborhood. I have video of him on here too.
