The storm damage at Grand Isle LA.

Grand Isle, LA is the end of the earth for our area. I had to make a delivery down there recently with a fellow driver and I happened to snap this video. Notice all of the damage to the camps/houses due to the storms of years past. Some camps are already fixed, some camps are beyond fixing and are being left there to just rot. Such a sad situation, but Grand Isle has nothing to protect the resides from hurricanes, so it's just a hazard of living so close to the coast. Thanks, Stephanie

I was just down there not to long ago our family fixed our fishing camp up, but there so many ohter who just can't afford it. Heartbreaking.
It truly is a darn shame that many of these camps are going to ever be repaired. It's heart breaking. Let me know when you come back to the island, I can try to be off to meet you in the area.

I have already repaid the comments, thanks for the comments. It was once a thriving beach community, now it's only the diehearts and the people who come for the fishing tournaments, so much has changed on the island and I don't think it's for the better either!
