I was one of the enthusiastic listeners, as you know and absolutely loved the live version. I support you and adore your work whole heartedly. Your radio appearance is featured in our group. Thank you for posting.
Great program, Boris. I listened to most of it (except for the music and the fiddling with the microphone). You sounded cool and certainly like someone who's done this before. I loved the "virtual reality" story and the last poem.
Loved the intro with 'Take Five'.
Congrats on your program Boris.
Your show was super. Loved your poetry and your story. Enjoyed all of the show frankly except for the commercials of course.
I adore the poems, and really like your voice, Boris. You are a *STAR* :)
And it was kind of you to point us to the right times on show,lol...
Wonderful program, Boris! I listened through the whole thing. You sounded older than you look in your icon :-)
Thanks for sharing! Nice program :)
Boris,
I'm cheering your success.
I'm in a primative tech situation (viewing and audio...the sweet wood's only limitations). When I return to caring for my mother next week, I'll ask to use my brother's lap top.
Until then, know I'm thrilled for you.
Wonderful!! I listened to the whole thing...you sounded great, very confident and smooth...and yes, you do sound older than your icon :=)...you have a great voice!
and please tell your friend Peter that i found his work quite entertaining and humorous :=)
COOLio -- thanks so much for posting this. [It was interesting to hear your 'dog' reading compared to the one you posted the other day; your version matched the way I 'heard' it in my head when I read it.]
Hey Bo! Way cool, man.
I'll come back later ... but on first sample (not getting to your poetry yet) I observe that your voice is less accented and deeper than I had imagined. No point here other than to make an observation about MY imagination. ; ) Ta.
So very sorry for being a bit too late... my heartfelt congratulations, dear Boris - this was a great performance! :-)
Blessings and best wishes - S.
Circling back, Boris, I had a chance to listen to your voice reading poetry and discussing your creative process. Rich stuff.
I, for one, enjoy poetry so much more when I hear it read rather than see it written ... especially by the poet. I suppose this preference goes back to my training in oral interpretation.
Kudos for The Dog's Tail Seen Through the Window Pane at 30:15. For many reasons (I'm sure can imagine) I relate my life experience through the perceptions of another species. You touched me/us with this one, sir.
Thanks and G'day -

Boris, it is so good to hear your voice, and your expression. It's a bit different than merely reading it, more powerful.
The interview was great - you sound a lot like Rainy, speaking about that backlog of writings waiting like a blinking cursor in the mind. Oh, the plights of the creative mind.
Your work is very inspiring, Boris. I really enjoyed the time I spent listening to this. Sometimes it's hard to slow down long enough to catch the really good stuff, but I'm glad I did today.
purrfect voice~reading purrfect poetics~ =)
well done~
congratulations~
=)
Rock on... B-man rules.
Love your comments on writing. I sort of get in a groove and lose track of everything in the external world.
Boris, I listened to you and your poems and your story, and I especially like the last one,it is so rich and well done. I love hearing your voice , much different than what I had imagined, Congratulations on your radio debut and much success in the future, Elsie
cheers! Boris...What an xtra-ordinary person you're ...with a melodious voice, good modulation and perfect reader.I loved it.Your accent is much different from others and truly graceful!
enjoy and thanks for the link.
Congrads Boris ... i just got done listening to "A Dogs Tail" - and wanted to pause and take a moment to comment on it. I have felt so strongly that much of the world is this way - so comfortable in their missery that they are to afraid to be free. However they long for it, and dream of it ... I will be revisiting this poem, as I am trying to listen over cartoons, lol.
I absolutely love hearing you reading them, as I can feel the story - and catch glimpses into the world in which you are painting ... fantastic my friend! I will be back to comment on the rest as i head back to finish the interview ... just wanted to make a quick comment on that poem, as it sparked my interest. Sincery Rainy
Okay, i think you called it " The Virtual Real World" ??? Several things came to my mind as you were reading this ... it brought me back to a dream i had, were i was in a house of changing rooms. I was running from something but unsure what exsactly, and each time i found a door that lead to the out side - i suddenly found myself trapped in other rooms. Desperately trying to get away from something, desperatly trying to escape out doors or windows ... only to find myself still in this house ....
At the end of this poem, you asked yourself " What if I am the Evil Genius creating this game?" It then dawned on me, i was running from myself ... and would forever be trapped in that house running thru door after door, or thru window after window - until i stopped running from myself, and face myself ....
Yet again, another wonderful piece - thank you greatly Boris ... but i wonder, would i have made this realization by merly reading this for myself? I believe hearing it from you is more powerful, becuz it gives the story feelings ... Very well done my friend!
I wanted to give some thought to your last piece - "Waking Up to Life" - i believe the answer to that question is most definately different for every individual ... there is no right answer, only the right answer for you - but what is right for you, will not be right for the next ... in the same breath, i believe that is the very purpose of life - for each of us to figure out the worth of our own life. That is what makes it our own journey - and for me the worth of my life - is the joy of takeing the very journey to figure it out ..... :)
I'm glad I finally was able to listen to this! Great job Boris!
How nice!
