i always wonderd how well these things worked, did you just use buckets for some homemade ones?
Yes, I use new buckets from Walmart. You can see in instructions at the link I posted in the caption.
ah, very neat, can you do other things too? like say strawberries?
(im not a fan of tomatos)
Yes strawberries work well upside down. I'm also doing zucchini and green peppers.
Wow! They are growing great!
nice tomatoes!
I have a pot of cherry tomotos going. What happens when they ripen, or a stiff wind blows? I'm afraid my garden critters will enjoy them before I do!
We had high winds last night and I worried but everything looks fine this morning.
Gives me hope, then!
Here's my version of an upside-down tomato (along with corny text):

It does look like they're going strong...
Looks like they're doing pretty good!
Cool. I want some!
My son saw an infomercial for these and wants one badly! I saw that Walgreens in carrying them now. I should pick up a couple!
They're looking great. I never thought about doing that for strawberries. Hmmm, maybe that's my next step to expanding my container garden on my deck.
They are doing really good! I'm seriously thinking of having one of these on my porch next year.
looking good you are going to have some really tasty ones
grrreat growing.
They are doing great Kay! Wow look at those tomatos you've got already!!

Thank you for featuring my video Kim
I saw some of these the other day! Very cool.
Wow -- they look great. I bought one of these planters for my father a year-and-a-half ago for Christmas and he loves it.
I found this through your link on RedGage.
I love the upside-down garden. I've eyed those containers before, but I've never tried it out.
