I've ordered from them in the past and probably should do it again but I always forget to do it before the cut off date.

We have a couple sites here for this group; neither of which are conveniently located for me to get to...not on a bus line and too far to walk.  Cabs are so expensive, I'd end up spending the money I'd be saving by getting the food...plus, there's too much food for me to be able to carry home even if I could walk to one.  I've checked out what they offer.  I'd not only get the reular package, but a couple of the meat packs and maybe even some of the pre-prepared meals, too.  You might know...that's just my luck on something you can't beat the price on.

Rob have you tried contacting a church near you? I am sure someone would find it in their heart to get the food to you if you paid for it. You can order & pay it online but I have never tried that. I use to get these boxes but I had to quit, more of what we were getting went to waste. I was going to restart, but I miss the darn cut off date as well.

Our church does it every two weeks. But I will only need to order once a month with two of us. TY for viewing.

Our local churches gather donated food which is distributed in one pantry.  We were informed during a recent food drive that as important as food items are they can use cash donations to even greater effect.  Through special buying arrangements they can buy $10 worth of food with every single dollar. It is a great way to support this vital community resource.

I don't even know if they do that in my area.  We do contribute to the Second Harvest and my teenager has even done volunteer work with them.  You did a good thing here.
