OMG!!!! Portia on high red alert!! That is too funny!
That squirrel is dangerous! Or someone has been feeding it peanuts and when it sees a person, it thinks it will get treats.
Definitely possible... I haven't seen it getting fed, but I can't really see my neighbors too well...
It sure looks well-fed. I bet someone has been leaving snacks for it on their patio. So then it becomes a pest, and maybe dangerous, to everyone. :o/
At least I have my big, tough kitty to protect me...
She is a good bodyguard!!!
Oh, I lost my connection. The first time it played, I got to see only half of it. That is so cute the way Portia was looking at it. "Hey, get off of my turf, you rodent!!"
She's sitting out there right now, patrolling ;) Or eating moths...
Oh, wow! She's a real go-getter. Do you have June bugs out there?
Are those the really big, freaky looking ones?
It's a pain, because she demands I keep the screen cracked for her, so bugs come in. And then she has a fine time chasing them around, but she doesn't get them all...
The other night we bonded while hunting a mosquito together.
Yes, they are shiny brown and buzz at the windows. Which makes no sense because they come out after dark and then they go for the lights. Thank goodness, the June bug season is almost over with. I sit out on the patio and they even get in my hair.......ewww.
Eeeew. I don't think we have too many of those, thankfully.
Gremlin is a bug hunter too. Does Portia chatter when she hunts? Gremlin makes this freaky clicky sound like she's part daulpin or something.
She chatters like that, but only at birds for some reason...
Great video Tory, Portia sure is brave.
Oh, oh, this video is in #19 spot on "most popular" videos!!
On my screen, it's NUMBER 1!!! Yeah!
Wow! That's great! On my screen, it's #8.
I think the Gather system for this is on drugs.
That was too funny....I thought I was going to die laughing.
lol! Glad to provide entertainment!
Ahahaha! Put him in a box and ship him to me. I'd love to have a squirrel. Have you tried getting dried corn on the cob and tying it down for him or getting a feeder? I bet he'd leave your stuff alone if he had his own snackums :0)
He doesn't even eat my stuff, half the time. He (and his friends) rip the leaves off of things, and then just leave it all there... I swear, they just enjoy being destructive. Oh, and they SLEEP on my plants and squish them to death, too.
That's a sign they're mad. Our squirrels in the park if we forget peanuts climb up the trees and throw leaves and sticks at us haha.
I donno get em a cat bed haha that'd make for a good video :0)
They must be teenager squirrels!!!!
See? They're evil! I KNEW it was a war.
At least I have my weapons. Cat, cayenne, and pepper flakes.
The one squirrel was yelling at me (well, angry-chattering) from the tree the other day, because I chased it off the balcony and then shook the end of the tree branch it was on, lol.
You obviously didn't shake it hard enough!!! ;o)
Yes wing it good next time. With any luck it will land on some passerby's head and make for the best video ever!
You two are just too funny!!!
...This plan brings me joy!
Just don't drop it onto one of those little old ladies carrying a big handbag full of bricks. ;op
Aww, why not?
Okay, on second thought, one of those bag ladies would make a good target.
(can I say "bag lady" or is that discriminatory and mean?)
Thanks for the laugh, great video!
Too cute! One year when I lived in NY, I planted some flower bulbs, and I kept wondering why they were not coming up. It was the squirrles! I got so upset one day I caught one doing it, ripping up the bulb, so I ran outside and chased it with a sword LOL. I was so happy the neigbors didn't call the police!
LOL! That's fantastic! (I used to work at a Ren Faire, so I've got a collection of swords...)
LOL I am glad you found it funny. My boyfriend at the time tought I was nuts. And I was too, but those darn squirrels kept eating my cala lillies!

Watch that he doesn't sneak into the house. I always fed the squirrels and some were really overly friendly. One got in the house one time and I had a heck of a time getting it out. I had to lay a trail of peanuts from the dinning room to the front door.
Thanks so much for sharing with my group.
One came into my mom's house through the fireplace, and the cats chased it into a couch. We had no idea, but thought it odd that the cats were sitting ont the couch, staring at the cushions... then I sat on it and the couch squeeked in a very non-furniture manner! It was the kind that unfolded into a bed, so we had to unfold it, and luckily the room it was in could be closed off from the rest of the house, and had a sliding door to the backyard.
Yup, when you feed them they get to the point where they have no fear of you and just come in and make themselves at home.
