Last week, on May 14th, the elementary school where my two oldest grandsons go to school was giving awards to some of the kids for their academic achievements during the school year. The school called my daughter to tell her that my grandson was going to be given a math award and that he didn't know about it yet. My daughter went with the digital camera to record the special event. I put together this slideshow of pictures that were taken my daughters partner with my camera.
The award ended up being a quilt that was made in a Sudoku pattern by my grandson's teacher. She made a different Sudoku pattern for the few kids who won a math award this year.
We are very proud of my grandson and his scholastic achievements and we believe that he is absolutely incredible!
