Yeah, this is totally boring. You all could do so much better. My initial idea was to photograph a tulip from dawn til dusk, but the strong storms took the petals before we had a nice sunny day. Photo Art Monthly Competitions

The music is from my husband's Wayman Tisdale album, "Way Up." He's the ex-Pacer and jazz musician that passed away of bone cancer this week. He was 44, born the same year as my husband.

You did great Denise for your first attempt.
To do proper time lapse photograaphy you need a good still camera and LOTS of photos, or frames and then speed it up!
You can also use a webcam!
Professional "stop action" is done with film or special, very expensive digital cameras.
But you DO have the idea!

Thanks, Gary! Yeah, I moved the camera on the tripod part way through, then noticed the camera was moving each time I pressed the button. My Cannon has a 2 second time delay that will probably help with that. I don't know about the Panasonic Lumix I used. I'll try some other time. My rose buds are coming, but no petals yet. Still I may give it a second try. Thanks so much for all the info, Gary. You've been a great help!
