Ahmed Al-Ajmy has a beautiful voice. I find the recitation of this surah simply amazing. It has a very relaxing effect on me.

Anything chanted from the Qu'ran is most spiritual. Sadly I am not able to understand the words.

This is, as are all Surahs of the Holy Quran, very beautiful; and sadly misunderstood. It tells of the coming day in which faith will be no more, for there will be an undeniable certainty in every heart, and those that have done no evil will have light heart and will go guiltless into the heavenly realms, but those that have commited evil deeds will by their own sense of guilt, at the unveiling of the truth, be parched and suffer the horrid pains of regret. It is alll preceded by message in which it reminds us all what a gift life is.
