We went to the pet store yesterday to take in about 12 mice - all males and one female that's pregnant. This is just some of the mice that won't be able to live here. :( While there we looked around and Gideon saw this bus. Oh, he yelled "I want it I want it I want it!" SO I held on to it. The regular price was $22 but it also was marked $11. Well, $11 isn't THAT bad and it is real cute - could go in the cage for a hideout or be used if Gideon wants to spend time with one in his room or to travel, so it'd get it's use. We went up to pay and the lady said "How about I trade you that for the mice?" We were so surprised and thanked her for her generous offer. So, here's mousie taking a spin with Gideon. (The mouse crawled right in the bus and really seems to like it a lot.)

How cute! I need to sort through my stuff, I have SO many old hamster toys- tubes, decorative cars, wheels, etc. Once I finally do, would you be interested in any of it (free)?

Heather, yes, we would! I've been kicking myself for giving away Kipper's old car so we were really happy to see this for the mice.

We have two mice cages (we had to keep one male because he's the only tame one out of over 50 mice) and they have plenty of room for toys and fun stuff.

Oh wow, you made out getting the bus for a trade for the mice. Thats better than spending any money. You give away something you don't want and get something you do in exchange...brand new to boot.

I just love the little cage! There was a motor cycle out a few years ago where you could put small rodents in the front wheel and they would roll the motor cycle around. it was so cute.
