Today we went to Brophy Brothers at the Santa Barbara Harbor - Charley loved the Harbor - he was our lab and died last night. His brother, Henry, died in November. The house is empty except for Loquita and the cats. We miss them so much. We celebrated our 14 years with them and talked about all the good times those two boys gave us. Salud

oh jeez,gurL,sooooo sorry for your loss,but glad you guys shared his long life...

beautiful area which looks a lot like the Tacoma and Seattle harbors tho' on the Puget Sound which is a very large body of water....any job openings down there?...year round full time employment with the tourist industry,or?

My darling girl...I'm so sorry about Charley. All the true things...that he lived a long good life and was very well loved are important.. but they don't take away the painful emptiness.
My brother pointed out that while other people's kids are going off to college, we are burying ours. A sentiment only an animal parent can understand. My thoughts are with you and R.
