I have so much to learn from you, Bent. This was excellent. I have a first cousin and her husband who live in Germany near the Danish border - well, that is what she said - and they might be moving to Denmark for a better job in the near future. A friend of mine from Germany, who lives here, once said, in a matter of fact way - when separating egg yolks and egg whites - that if a tiny drop of egg yolk gets into the egg white, that you have to throw the whole thing out, because the 'yolk dilutes the purity of the egg white.' We know of course that this is true in cooking, but it was the phrasing that got me. 'dilutes the purity.'

Seems the Obama administration will support Fogh, on behalf of the big Euro powers, Germany et al. But...

...One of Denmark's most renowned political scientists and an internationally respected NATO researcher, Hans Mauritzen, echoes my surprise over the American about face to support the Fogh Rasmussen nomination as the next NATO general secretary. Mauritzen is the senior researcher for the Danish Institute of International Studies and author of the book, The International Civil Service. In a statement today, he expressed his honest shock that the Obama administration had not supported the nomination of Canada's Minister of Defense, especially in terms of some European nations like Turkey, with large Muslim populations, feeling marginalized by the likes of Fogh.

Sad to say, except for (Fogh Rasmussen Denmark) America is hated all around the World becaused of the Bush adm. and the illegal Iraq invasion. (2003)
Obviously Fogh Rasmussen thrives among crooks but is it okay that NATO is head by a crook.?
