Yesterday the laws of chance and statistics fell apart. The earth spun once upon its axis without one broken heart. The morning air was clear and sweet like it was when we were young. The miracle of oxygen on a pink and healthy lung. It's easy to obsess on the threats that have been hurled, but remember there are good things in the world. In the time it take to wake from sleep life is only what it seems. A sunrise and a gentle breeze and your memories of dreams. I wouldn't trade this happiness for the dialogs of war. Maybe after breakfast, but that's not what this time is for. It's easy to lose faith when the flags have been unfurled, but remember there are good things in the world.
