This is what we were doing, when history was made. I have a tape in the VCR, and I'm recording today's histortic events.

Thank you Rick! Our best (Canadian) friend Herb gave us a couple of bubbling bottles for Christmas. We drank one on New Year's Eve, and we saved the other for today. That's my best crystal we're using. Walker got out a couple of bigger glasses, and I made him put them back. "This is an inauguration, we've got to use the BEST ones! So what if they're smaller, we can fill 'em again." We're both on our third glass. LOL

Thank you Nation. I'm glad i wasn't the only one taping. I wonder who else got the whole thing on video. :) I'm just glad I had a new un-opened VHS tape, still in the plastic. That way I knew I wasn't going to tape over anything. LOL

All things being eual, it was a very good ceremony. Leah and I were tlking that the only thing that would have added would have been a gesture of friendship and alliance...

The most moving version either of us have ever heard of the "Battle Hymn of the Republic" is performed by the Red Army Choir. That would have been a wonderful and moving gesture.

Ohhhhhhhhhhh wow, Love it!!! You two are too cute for one and I love your videos - one day, I'm just going to sit and watch them all - but for now, I am catching up. Loved this one for sure and it was great to watch Walker pop the cork - what a historical moment and collectors item...of course, we forgot to take pics of ourself - oh well...hey that looks like good champagne and you know my old saying, Salud.
