Old Copenhagen at Juletide

Nothing special here. Some extra shooting from an unrelated project. The man with the violin is an enigma. This is by the Strøget of Copenhagen - the walking street shopping area, where a vast amount of international wealth is *exchanged. A couple of years ago, it had begun to be populated by the homeless... until the authorities recently began shipping them away with various means. Out of sight, out of mind, or perhaps one remembers Hans Christian Andersen, who wrote a fairy tale about a little poor girl, selling matchsticks by a restaurant near this exact location... People and places are a bit thinner than they are because the original footage was shot in wide HD format, and somehow it goes to 3X4 here... The domed church in the video is Vor Frue Kirke, where a Tasmanian girl became the Crown Princess of Denmark a few years ago. I guess they met at a bar, when Frederik was enjoying himself from being a frogman down under. One of Europe's oldest universities is behind the violin player...
