Another song clip from last night's 164th anniversary performance by the Puslinch Country Squires. This one was captured with my handycam, though short beecause I was running out of room. One of my favourite songs.

Oh Leah - I love this - reminds me of the kind of music my old father used to play - he played banjo and violin or fiddle! I could listen to this old timey music all night - hope you had good time listening to these talented gents! Thank you for sharing. Salud

You are so welcome, Mariana. Please stay tuned. I'm in the process of uploading another one that should be up in about 10 minutes, provided my #$%^ing computer behaves. The one I'm uploading will be the WHOLE version of a song called Maple Sugar, an old Canadian standard and the song I was saving the last bit of video to record.

This is a wonderful Bob Wills tune and I love singing the song. The words are by Bob's brother Johnny Lee Wills, who also led a great band.
I was in a Western Swing Band for a while with a phenomenal fiddler named Brian Godchaux who once played with Dan Hicks, among others. I swear to God I channeled Patsy Cline when I sang this with Brian on violin.

Right on, Walker. You'd put a spare in a bag by the door incase of "emergencies." LOL I have to start carrying one in my computer case incase we forget to pick up the spare at home. LOL
