Hi, this is a song I wrote for the Songs From Scratch Vol 2 contest. I hope I uploaded it in the right place. I was back home last week to Mpls. (now I live in SF) and I really like MPR and the Current. I hope you like this song.

Oh yeah, I love that line about the dog, it is unexpected and refreshing.

The fact that you wrote it from Dorothy's perspective gives it a lot of personality, and I wonder if that gave you more opportunities to work in the loneliness / lost element.

Very nice song. I really liked your voice on this simple arrangement. Almost a John Lennon feel to it.
