SHE'S MY BABY

Originally sung in Australia by iconic Aussie Rocker Johnny O'Keefe. The photos are my local Restaurant vascinity on a quite Sunday (like my love life!)-5 minutes walk away! Johnny O'Keefe was the 1st Australian Rock Star and opened up the business here and broke some barriers in the USA with his hit "The Wild One" later sung and made a hit by other Artists. He lived up to the Wild One Image apparently. I heard a story of one of his USA experiences on the radio the other day. Apparently, his company wanted to play on the "Aussie" image, was promoting him as the "Boomerang Kid", and offered $100 to anyone who could throw a Boomerang farther than him. (in the 1950's apparently all Aussies threw Boomerangs). Anyway he showed up to Central Park I think so drunken legless that the Record Company lost a packet when he couldn't throw it 5 feet! J'OK he is affectionately still known here, sing this in any club you instantly win friends!
