Great! Glad you're writing!
Thanks! And yes, I think it helps keep it from feeling overwhelming. Also from getting that sinking feeling when you skip a day. Which leads to more procrastination -- and sets up that whole vicious cycle we writers know so well!
Thanks!
Thanks so much!
Since I work at home and stay at home with my son eeking out a scheduled time to write just doesn't work. Kids work on their schedules, not ours. Sad to say that I've written next to nothing since November.
Pathetic.
The times I DO write is simply because I decide that sleep is going to get cut to do it. Not the smartest move, but if I didn't do that I'd write even less than I do now.
I do think that the calendar method is good. Part of what gets me going on NaNoWriMo is the taunting RED SQUARES on their progress report when I don't make my word count. The GREEN SQUARES when I meet or EXCEED my word count are so satisfying that I push HARD to earn those.
Something tells me I need to red-square my calendar so that I can achieve the same effect.
Now, where to find a nice calendar at this time of year?
