Nick Elms, a storm spotter, is director of West Metro Skywarn. He drives a specially equipped vehicle when he's out gathering storm data, and he showed MPR's Cathy Wurzer how it all works.

That is awsome how you guys do it. I'm not afraid of storms like those but my husband is hes up everytime the wind blows. Yes i'm up with him because he wakes me up to tell me get ready we gotta go!
