this is an earlier track/video. neither the audio or video are very good. while it is not my best work, i still love this track and its meaning. i wrote this song at a time when i wasn't able to see my sons... luckily things have changed since then. i hope you enjoy.

hey esther, the vid was shot right on the boardwalk at PNC Park here in Pittsburgh. Some really great shots of the city from there, eh? My cinematographer/photographer, d.gauss took a pic from that area... it's so lovely... check it out:

hey odd, you're not the first to say "degrees of separation" is a departure for me. one of the reviews i have posted on here mentions the vast difference between "degrees" and "i surrender all."

i actually have quite a few tracks that are very different from the original euro-trash queer rock i started out doing. lately i have been doing alot of folk- or more like "folk punkish-kindish" maybe?

anyway... keep checking back. i will be uploading and posting many various tid bits of me.

that sounded really scary! posting my tid-bits?! ug!

Really nice! Great video and excellent song. (I've always told people that Pittsburgh really is a beautiful city and home to some terrific talent). I'll be checking out more of your music.

It seems a if we are always our own harshest critics... this is excellent work! Great song, solid imagery, and unfortunately, the topic is highly relevant to many right now. I really enjoyed seeing shots of the 'Burg in this, and thought the playgroud was a perfect image to use with this song.

hey dave.... thank you so much for the kind words. i have only just realized how awesome it is to give your child "the opportunity of a lifetime" and also have the distinct pleasure of watching him enjoy it.

my 15 year old son is an aspiring photographer. he is star struck with my partner, d.gauss, as he is an internationally known photographer/cinematographer. we (sinister minister underground theater, my video production company) recently wrote, directed & produced canadian pop diva, annick's new music video entitled, "wonder." d. was going to do a photo shoot with annick and i thought it would be cool if my son sat in on the shoot to watch and learn... maybe as d.gauss' assistant... maybe as another photographer.

i talked with d. and annick's associates and badah-boom-badah-bing... my 15 year old son was doing his first professional photo shoot with an international singer. dude... it totally rocked!!!
