I absolutely love freshly shucked oysters. We just can't get them up here. Not of any good size, anyway. Plus they cost an arm and a leg.

I am not a fan of seafood either, LOL! I love how they recycle the shells, do they "toss" them back in for the new oysters to use? I saw it on Dirty Jobs, I found it to be very resourceful! :-)

An oyster roast? There is a great one in Reedville, VA. It will be held this year on Nov 8th. Also Urbanna, Virginia has a big oyster festival on the same weekend. Both are great good times.
