On our first night in Costa Rica we were fortunate to get to know the local culture by discovering the origin of Costa Rica's heritage by attending a 5 hour dinner play put on by the local teachers association just for us. Through a stage show we learned about the music, dances, and masks, as well as an extraordinary wealth of cultural manifestations. We saw local traditions, legends of white, red & black corn woman, and we partied the night away in style. Additionally we savored the local cuisine all while enjoying the folklore of marimbas and dances. This was a night of good taste, joy and fun.
