Wow. Please tell him that I have 2 things that he has:
1) A spin just identical to his (although I usually throw in lane 12 and end up striking down (few) pins in lane 11) and
2) The cd that contains the music from his video (love it.)
How cool to have a son so way-neat-o-spiffy-cool. (You can tell him I said that, too!)

Like Kathy I too have a spin like your sons...but mine is out of control. I think it is the lefty curse...some can control it and others can't.

Seriously, you must be so proud of your son...he has a great talent!!!

I haven't bowled in years,I love the way he curves the ball it has taken alot of patients to perfect that curve.My hats off to him.

Wow - he has a mean right hook. Awesome to watch. I use to play in three leagues, so I know the work that goes into getting strike after strike especially with a hook like that....so tell him I said Awesome job and keep it up!

For a moment I thought all he did was throw strikes. I don't know if you edited the video or not, but it is started in the first frame, he struck nine straight frames.

So, what are his plans? Looks like he could be turning pro. Are there any colleges that offer bowling scholarships? There was a school bowling team when I was in college, but that was quite a few years ago and I don't know if any of the bowlers were on scholarship.

That is incredible!! We bowled a lot when I was growing up, but in New England we mostly use three little balls and candle pin. He is very impressive! It's incredible how he makes that final curve everytime!!

We had ahigh school team but have never heard of college level bowling. Though some one told me they were considering making it an olympic event in the future. There is also a pro bowl league like in golf, isn't there? Though college, if possible should be #1~ Thanks for sharing and hope you all have a wonderful holiday!!

good bowling there,, we have a family here,, my son who is 26 bowls an 260+ average, my hubby is at 225 to 230 average,, my yongest son bowl 240 and my daughter bowls 1900 to 200 average,, I used to bowl before strokes and I was at 140,,,

What a great editing job on the video. I have to tell you all that I have seen Colton bowl with my own eyes and he can do 9 strikes in a row, and actually he has at least 2 perfect games to his credit and before the age of 18. He has TONS of talent and most of it is natural. His mom is a great inspiration to him and she backs him 100 %. So great job Colton, you do rock!

Yeah, me and you Maywood. I am a professional pinsetter too. I worked for 10 cents a line (game). I set two leagues a night. I set two alleys, sometimes four. I could pick up eight pins at a time
We used semi-automatics also. All we would have to do is load the rack with pins and then pull the cord to set the pins. I was able to hold out the seven or ten pin and just as the rack would bottom out and set the pins, I would throw the pin into the pocket so hard that it would hit the floor and it would make a very loud bang that could be heard all over the bowling alley.
Pretty soon the boss would come back to where we were setting pins, and since he didn't know who was doing it he would just chew us all out and threaten all of us with execution. Those were good old days.
