Metamorphosis

The metamorphosis of my favorite spots in Newport into Winter. The idea for the video effect came from watching John Foxx's "Cathedral Oceans" DVD, where he provides a continuous morphing from one picture to another to illustrate his music. I thought this would be the perfect way to bring my favorite places from Summer or Fall into Winter. The music is Lisa Gerrard's "Sanvean: I Am Your Shadow" from her 1995 CD The Mirror Pool. I've loved this piece of music since I first heard it, and in my pre-will I've left instructions for it to be played at my memorial service. It sets the perfect mood for this piece of video. All in all I'm pleased with how this turned out!
