Cori, the book publishing industry uses the Chicago Manual of Style. As an ex news guy, I'm used to Associated Press Stylebook. But believe me, I'm adapting!
P.S I hope your wife is holding up with all of this new travel and stuff in her life.
Good tip about the Chicago Manual of Style. Phew! Thats what I have on my reference bookshelf. Have fun in Boston!
