You do great videos. I know they have authors read their own books on tape sometimes, but maybe they should have authors read their books in video. I dunno, just entered my brain and exited my fingertips. :)

I just saw your book in the downtown Washington D.C. Barnes & Noble. No special display (yet), so I tracked it down in the mystery section. The book looks great! It was such a treat to see the names of all of the Gather.com members who sent you contratulations published in the back.

Also, thought I'd pass along the news and Monday or Tuesday's edition of "USA Today" reviewed your book (and that of the other Gather.com "First Chapters" winner). A few weeks ago, I was listening to NPR and also caught an interview with you and the quote from a book publisher saying that, thanks to all of the quality writers on Gather, they're "now using Gather.com as their 'slushpile.'" Great news for you, and wonderful news for our other writers!! Thank you for leading the charge.

Reading your book I can see that you have a great imagination and intelligence besides being a terrific writer. I was hoping a picture of your beautiful poodles would be on the back cover of your book along with you. As soon as I got the book I looked on the back and thought, "no poodles?" The book is great though!
