Madeline didn't get the hang of breastfeeding right away, so I had to feed her formula from a tube taped to my finger. Eventually, she did catch on to the breastfeeding (thank goodness!)

oh I wish someone had suggested that to me. I was trying to get him to breastfeed and feeding formula at the same time. After 3 months I gave up, formula won.

They forced me to give my baby formula because of his jaundice and he wanted to bottle feed after my milk came in but I kept at it and now he is a champion little nurser, but it was hard work! Good job Mom!
