Avocadoes and orange...These three avos were bought by my son at the Hilo Farmers Market on Friday...Two of them are HUGE. I placed a regular sized orange next to them as comparison. The two larger ones were $2 each and the largest one weighed 3 -1/2 pounds...the second largest 2-1/2 pounds and the smaller 1-1/2 pounds - all 3 @ 7.5 pounds for $5= 1.50# - sure beats those tiny Haas avos for $1 each at the supermarket! I'm not sure what variety they are...We're having one with dinner tonight... YUM - Sonia M, Hawaii

The smallest of these three was at least 2-1/2 times larger than a Haas...
We ate half of the largest one tonight...it was delicious but way too big to eat it all..Will use the rest in a salad tomorrow...
The one with ate (part of) last night was so creamy/buttery...it was delicious!
