Pan roasted asparagus with pan roasted, white wine braised homegrown leeks. Seasoned with a tiny pinch of sea salt and a couple of pinches of cracked pepper.

That looks absolutely perfect! I recently started using sea salt and it has my paw of approval. The asparagus out back hasn't sprouted yet, any day now.

Thanks, Sassy. Half of the asparagus is from our garden & the other half is purchased since we didn't produce enough. I hope you know to be careful about the use of sea salt since it doesn't' have any iodine (usually, so be sure to read labels).

Karen, leeks are very mild and onion-like. I love them because they can be used in so many recipes or as a side dish on their own.
