They look great. We have been picking and eating ours for a while now. The thick ones are roasted or steamed. The thin ones go into shrimp pasta or a baked omelet with Swiss cheese.

I blanch them, add a dash of salt and clarified butter. A little parmessean cheese also works well.

I LOVE asparagus! I wouldn't touch it as a kid. Now I broil it in the oven ~ first toss with extra virgin olive oil, sea salt & pepper, and crushed garlic...then shake on parmaseano reggiano...delicious!!!! Great picture!
