This is an artist I know in Flye Point, Maine. I hadn't seen her in a year and as she painted I jibber-jabbered....course I had my camera with me so I took pictures.

I love the self-referential, picture-in-the picture nature of this--the artist and her hand appear in in the painting. Is that hand painting a self-portrait, too?
