LOADING HER UP: THE RUBY PRINCESS DOCKED IN FORT LAUDERDALE, FL. AND PREPARING TO SAIL. WE WERE INVITED AS LUNCHEON GUESTS ABOARD IN ONE OF THE MAIN DINING ROOMS YESTERDAY BEFORE THE CRUISE.

Wow, David.........what an elegant cruise line! Hmmmmmmm, now you've got me REALLY excited..........we only have like 43 or so more days till we leave for the Caribbean on the Royal Caribbean, and we are so totally excited!!!!!!!!

I've been on my first & last cruise: the Navy Test Parachutist's Reunion Cruise in October, 2004. First and last because Barbara would not go on a cruise. We had a fabulous time.

Farfella in cream sause with tomatoes and roasted garlic as an appetizer. The main couse for me was chateau briand with sauteed vegetables and roasted baby potatoes. For desert, a slection of cookies and chocolate volcano cake.

Jamie went with shrimp cocktail adn salmon. We all ahd the same deserts.

actually, I made a mistake. Jamie did not go with the salmon, she had a shrimp cocktail and a double order fo the farelle. I guess you two have something in common.

So you had lunch and got booted off? nice..My sister's been on cruises several times since BIL passed away and my MIL did the same thing when FIL passed away...My husband's trying to get me on one but I hesitate, maybe I shouldn't come to think of it...Thought provoking pictures come in all forms..

That's a possibility! We aren't getting any younger as my husband recently told me. He wanted us to go to Hawaii with his brother & wife in Dec. That was a big surprise to me. He actually WANTED to go! Unfortunately, that is not financially possible this year. Health care first. So maybe next Oct. on our 44th anniversary........

Boy, I wish I knew! Happy Anniversary to you both! We were just kids when we married. Can't believe it's going to be 2010 soon. That has always seemed like such a futuristic date to me. Probably because we saw the movie back in the early 80's. Gads, even my grand kids are becoming adults!

I told my wife for our 50th I would take her to Italy and for our 60th...I would go there an bring her back. :-)

Oh you Rake! Better be careful, she may have too much fun! Ours was Oct 15th. Two of my husbands brothers & our daughter all have October anniversaries. You may have seen the photos I posted last year of our daughters wedding. Married on Halloween, costumes & all.

We sailed on her sister ship, the Emerald Princess, two years ago, a cuise form Venice to barcelona. It was wonderful and this was a delightful reminder.
