GREAT Image! I love when people mix warm lighting with cool lighting and it's done well. You did this VERY well! This can also be a very effective portrait combination. Key light someone's face with "warm" light and use "cool" or a 1/2 CTB bounced off a white card as the fill light. You can create some very dramatic portraits this way!

That sounds interesting for portraits! I think I can visualize how that would look. I'm still trying to learn about lighting and different ways to bounce, shift and use light to impact photos. I have been reading quite a bit at strobist.com and I'm trying to figure how I can create a lighting setup with battery operated speedlites, lol. Stands, cords, umbrellas..... I have much to learn. If you rent the film Pride and Prejudice...notice MANY of the close ups of Keira Knightley. The technique I described was used extensively with her on many CUs in the film. It is also used frequently for cosmetic commercials, especially around Christmas time. :-)

My husband let me post this photo. MR. Vampire! This is my smaller cat, Smokey Jo. She is a tiny ball of gray fur weighing barely 6 pounds. However, don't let the size fool you. As you can see from her expression, she has a HUGE attitude and get. . . My Husband caught Mitten's in mid-yawn a couple of weeks ago. Oh boy, I'm sooo tired! (My cat Piki.)
