I tried hard to keep the feeder full last winter...will try again this winter and hopefully get more shots of them feeding...

Thanks J. F. ...I have my good days and my bad days....bought a camouflage burlap netting to make a hid to take photos this year, if my body will let me sit in it to hopefully take more and better photos of them...

I hope it works for you. I know that photos are your passion. I am starting to stop going outdoors other than necessities and it breaks my heart. I can't take the pain daily and cold and humidity makes it worse. But we do what we gotta do.

J.F. that is so very true. I didn't get any photos of the hummers this year, while last year in one month I took over 9,000, all from my window. That is where I get most of my bird photos, from the window, but this year most of the time I didn't feel up to sitting so long waiting to take them.

Tomorrow a friend and I are headed up to Helen, Ga. and Unicoi State park to take fall photos, well, I will be doing the photo taking she will be being bored. Just hope the leaves have not all fallen yet. What with the wet weather we have had this fall the leaves change then fall so quickly. Will probably suffer for it but it is worth the pain to go.
