He would stand on his back feet with his front feet on my shoulders and hug me. He'd sit with his chewy toy for me to play tug. He was very strong and he'd hold tight...then sometimes he'd let go just as I'd give it a good yank to try and pull him up off the floor and I'd punch myself in the nose (stupid people tricks)

Thanks ~ he was a sweetheart...with us. Make no mistake, if he thought I was threatened, he turned into a vicious, snarling monster. He had a growl that started in his toes that even scared me. He hated the man across the street, justifiably so, long story. He came into our yard for something, I had to throw myself onto the dog in a tackle, because he went after him.

I believe you, my female shepherd is the same way. She is so lovable with me and my children, but a demon with strangers! Onslow makes my dogs look like chihuahuas! LOL

He really was...but...I felt like a lion tamer shoving his meds down his throat twice a day..my whole hand fit down his throat with room to spare, his molars were the size of large grapes! I was the only one he 'allowed' to do it.
