asian bittersweet,macro,photography
I know Asian Bittersweet is an invasive species that smothers everything in its path, but the berries are still so very decorative!

My sister and I stopped in Newport to see the sights one November day a few years ago. We had a lobster lunch, checked out the shops, visited one of the Big Houses that was decorated for Christmas and then went to the shore - a peninsula of sorts. We walked forever in the wind and loved every minute of it. Bittersweet was everywhere. I grow bittersweet in my back yard. I don't let it get wild. The berries are always a part of my fall and winter decorations. Love your close up.
