ya he is a tiny little guy, that is braver than any big bird he could care less how close i am to him as long as he is getting the food thats all that matters to him

Nice chickadee. Wonder why I knew what it was, before I read the caption. We don't have these around here. Or at least, I've never seen them here. Mostly sparrows and finches. Which reminds me. I think I got a shot of a woodpecker on my shed, the other day.

they do look quite a bit alike, but the black capped has more vocabulary and the sides of the bird are usually a darker orange

Cool. I don't think your bird lives in my neck of the woods. The black capped does. I usually only see common house sparrows when I see tiny birds.

before I started feeding birds there were basically 3 types around sparrows, starlings and a cardnal every now and then i find new birds showing up now all the time. feed them and they will come word gets out pretty fast between the birds when it comes to a good spot to find a meal
