Blessings to him for his service! My son, in AFROTC, was just telling me that the Air Force is putting one man with each Army ..... (I'm not sure what the word is- patrol group?) He said that makes him nervous. I see this man and think about his mom.

if he's AFROTC, unless he is forward air controller or para rescue, his time with the Army on a patrol will be likely non existent.

ROTC is for future officers and most FACs/PR are enlisted

This kid likely has two proud but understandably nervous parents. They learn to tune it out like my parents (then me) and millions of others have over the years as their boys go off to serve.

Dale, Hi! Great Photo. What our Service Men do for our Country,I can hardly find the words to say. I have 5 Brothers and Two of them are Marines.

Well Dale - a great soul in the service of humanity and God. Jesus Christ said "As long as you did it to the least of your brethren, you did it to me". Indeed what better service can one do than to lay down one's life for his friends as Jesus Himself did?
