Thank you Marianne! They turned out so good. And were fairly easy to make. The biggest thing was just time spent waiting for them to rise. :)

A Georgia recipe from a Savannah cook ,with Vietnamese cinnamon ,and cooked in New York is truly an International gastronomical delight ! Dem' rolls look great !

You bet. Since I eat at 5am! Some things I have patience for, but waiting 2 1/2 hrs for a sweet roll to rise may not be one of them.

It did take a bit, but sure worth it. ;) I think I may just make some up and freeze them before the second rising. (It's after I roll and cut them) Then all I need to do is to unthaw and let rise...then bake. Although that'll still be a good hour or so........

but sure worth it...if not for just the SMELL the house had. OMGosh....it made you just drool smelling them..LOL

I love cinnamon rolls, and these look perfect: airy, sweet and a little bit nutty. This also represents a nice $ savings over buying a mere six in a package (all with too-sweet frosting) at the store. Kudos for following this through! Now featured at Frugal Eats.
