You make it look so good. Although I am hoping to make some mjitos, once it's less hot, so that we can actually spend time outside again.

Jeez, rub it in, Rose! It was nothing like the summer before, which was sweltering. I always remember what I made in the kitchen and it was all cold salads, cold desserts, the summer of 2008. Not so this summer.

I am so over cooking in this heat - my imagination has left the building. I'll have a look at some of your posts maybe something of your cold dishes will do the trick for tomorrows dinner.

I really don't mind a cool summer, Rose - but three days of real heat is just not enough to cram all those lazy summer moments in, is it? Best of luck to you - I'd rather cool than hot anytime.

I usually do iced coffee, but once in a while gotta go with that lemon mint and Red Rose sun tea.

Neither of us is capable of long hours out there any longer, Kat, so we pace ourselves and work a little bit each day - 1-2 hours tops....and even that drains us....BUT, we're beginning to see the results already, so that is encouraging....!

Me too. I was just mentioning to Anthony yesterday how with just a little bit each day we can already see results.... Still a lot to do, but I'm looking at the short term projects for the time being instead of the larger picture ;-)
This way we won't be overwhelmed...
