Something hubby got in the mail last week. A quote by Ronald Reagan. I wonder what he would think of our government today?

He taunted Libya by sailing the Nuclear armed Sixth Fleet into Libya’s Gulf of Sidra to goad Khadafi. (remember a US president dealing with nuclear missiles close to US waters) Libya took the bait and had two of its Migs shot down. Knowing they could Not take on the US militarily, they resorted to terrorists acts. They bombed a Disco in Germany frequented by G I’s.
In retaliation, Reagan ordered the assassination of Khadafi with an air strike that killed his baby daughter.
Tit for tat, Libya finally responded with the downing of Pan Am flight 103 over Lockerbie Scotland with 270 lost lives!
All because Reagan wanted to flex his muscles.
Don’t get me started on the Beirut bombing that killed 299 because Reagan refused to listen to security concerns that the Marines would be safer quartered on ships offshore.
There is something sinister when evil invokes God’s name or insists it is doing God’s will.
