I gotta start feeding you better.
Thanks for the comment, sweetie.
How about some more of those blueberry pancakes we had the other night?
:-)
I agree with Donna, you better eat.
Thanks for the comment, Sharon.
LOL on the eating thing.
Yes.
The persistence of memory ...go eat...
Thanks for the comment, Kathryn.
After all these eating comments, maybe my next piece should be something like "The Persistence of Chow".
that's very nice
Thanks, Nancy.
Glad you liked it.
Now for your next assignment -- Make a clock hang over a chair and droop down over manhole cover into a bottomless pit.
Can you do that with digital?
Rest easy
Thanks for the comment, Bill.
Yup, I sure could do that with the digital medium. Has it been done before? It sounds kind of familiar, but I'm not completely knowledgeable with all variations on the melting clock; not even all of Dali's versions.
You too
You could title it "Hooked on Gather".
Ha-ha-ha-ha..., That would just be SO appropriate !!
Good One, Bill
Wonderful...!!!
now I wanna see the tourists melt and drape over beach chairs...!
Thanks, Liz.
Melting over beach chairs... Hmmmm.....
there ya go
Yup, there I go.
Thanks, Chas.
I Love it! Summer distractions stretched anew.
The Surreal Circus
Thanks for the comment, Adrian.
And thank you for accepting this to the Surreal Circus. The group has certainly inspired me a lot since it came to Gather.
(your beach extravaganza is now featured)
Love it. Very cute and clever.
Thanks, Kay.
Just me having fun.
That's pretty cool.
Too bad Photoshop doesn't work with my Vista computer.
Thanks for the comment, Angela.
Actually, one of the reasons I'm still using an old version of XP is because someone told me Vista wouldn't support my version of Photoshop; and I LOVE my photoshop (which I spent a bunch of money about nine years ago to get). It's outdated, but still works great.
Neat variation of surrealism
Thank you for posting to Any Photo Art
Thanks for the comment. Glad you liked it.
And thanks for accepting this to your group.
Oh, this is just wonderful, Bill.
Thank you, Elizabeth.
It certainly was fun to do.
very nice
Thanks, Shirl.
Nice job on this, you blend very well
Thanks, Sunaura.
Modifying the body shapes took the most time, but the hardest thing was getting those shadows just right.
Comments like yours and those above prove that the effort was totally worth it.
Okay, this creeped me out a bit. Well done.
LOL - Thanks, EM JAY.
One of the themes I was trying to peg here was that tourist towns often have a love/hate relationships with their tourists. They love the money that comes in, but often chaffe at the intrusive, opinionated and judgemental outsiders that crawl all over the local's landscape.
I shoot sightseers. You know they flock to the Southside for all the ghettofabulous scenery.
Ah! So you're the one. I guess that means I've been past your house.
BTW - It's not the fabulous scenery that draws the gawkers to your area. It's the pristine air quality drifiting up from Frank Road, combined with what flows over from Columbus Steel.
Oh no, I'm just out of bounds of the Frank Stank and Columbus Steel! We don't allow that sort of thing on our street.
I always thought it was the great variety of dumpsters in the alleys that brought in the looky-loos.

You're a winner in July's Any Photo Art ~ Photo Editing Art This is one of the few artistic entries this month. Your work is truly appreciated.
That's a total surprise to me; and I'm totally honored.
Now, how do I get delivery of that new car?
:-)
Congratulations on your APA win!
LOL - Oh yeah, I could absolutely make you look that thin; even thinner. The wonders of photo editing know no bounds.
