Thanks Kimber. Manhole covers are an unusual prediliction, but I really love them.
I like the leaf on it. Beauty is found everywhere if we only take the time to really look.
Heavens, the odd things you notice! I'm curious about the "India" written on it. How striking!
Not sure, but though the USA was the leader in the production of manhole covers for years, cheaper materials and labor have led to a rise in manufacturing in India.
I guess I just never thought about the concept of off-shoring manhole cover production!
These tiny things, your poetic eyes may pick, reflect of civilisation and bridging between cultures.
